Tarot And Oracle Decks For Cancer Season

Cancer season is here and I couldn't be happier!
It's my favorite time of year—those hot, sticky afternoons have finally arrived, and the scent of salt in the air is calling me to take my yearly trip with my husband to the sea. It's absolutely no surprise to me that he's a Cancer—Cancerians have always been the people who understand me best: my first best friend in childhood, my grandmother with whom I spent every summer in the countryside at her small cottage near the forest, and now, my husband and soulmate, Danny.
I've noticed that Cancers and Leos are often drawn to each other. Have you noticed that too? Maybe it's because Cancers make Leos feel truly seen, and Leos, in turn, give Cancers that touch of passion and courage to open up. It's a dynamic that feels both safe and exciting—nurturing but never dull.
As a Leo Sun and Moon (Cancer in Sidereal/Vedic astrology), I've always cherished their gentleness, their care, and that quiet vulnerability. Being around them feels like finally letting out a breath you've been holding for far too long.
I wanted to share two decks from my collection that embody that Cancerian energy—decks I recommend if you're craving emotional safety, self-expression, and loving kindness toward yourself and others.
Reclaim Oracle Expanded Edition

This is the deck that inspired this post. You'll notice that both decks I chose are pink—a color I strongly associate with Cancer's tender, feminine qualities. But don't let the softness fool you. The Reclaim Oracle holds real emotional depth, mirrored by the black in the cards.
Cancers are often misunderstood as simply gentle and sentimental—but don't forget the shell that protects their rich emotional world. That's exactly how I experience this deck. It holds my hand when I'm wading through dark, tangled feelings. It gives me space to express myself, yet it isn't afraid to speak the hard truths—just like a true friend would.

Tarot Of Aphrodite

The second deck I'm drawn to during this time of year is the Tarot of Aphrodite. I use it not only when I want to connect with the Goddess Aphrodite (or Venus, however you experience Her), but also when I want to reconnect with the sea.
This deck feels fluid, intuitive, and deeply emotional. It can move you to salty tears when it touches a raw spot in a love reading—but just like a summer storm, it clears quickly, leaving you refreshed and stronger. I also love its aesthetic for summer—it encourages me to lean into my feminine side and, on good days, helps me admit that even I, with all my Leo pride, sometimes need to be held and cared for.
